Important Information For Clients Regarding COVID-19 Virus

Due to concerns about the novel coronavirus and related disease (COVID-19), we are taking additional precautionary measures (per the recommendations of the CDC) within the hospital to keep our staff, doctors, animals, clients, and visitors safe, while continuing to provide essential patient care.

We have increased our sanitizing protocols around the hospital for client and staff safety to allow us to remain OPEN.

Our primary goal is to stay healthy, keep others around us healthy and continue to provide service throughout the duration of this pandemic.

Online Pharmacy

Also for clients who do not want to travel into the clinic please utilize our Hospital’s Online Pharmacy. This can be a great resource to ensure proper social distancing, but still provide the necessary medications and nutritional products. 

Appointment Protocol

Prior to your appointment, we will email you a questionnaire to be completed if you are seeing a doctor. You can give the questionnaire to the staff member bringing in your pet at intake, or email it back to us prior to the appointment. Please ensure that we have your current contact information telephone numbers and email address. 

If you have tested positive, travel outside the country, or been in contact with anyone that has tested positive, please reschedule your appointment.  If you currently have any symptoms of the novel coronavirus (cough, fever, or any breathing issues) please reschedule your appointment.  

When you arrive for your appointment, please park at one of the designated numbered cone and text us at 203-343-7577.  You can also call on your cell 860-673-4000 to announce your arrival and car information.

A staff member who will be masked will come out, meet you, and bring in your pet for their appointment. Please make sure that your pet is securely on a leash or in a carrier before handing off to the staff.

During the appointment please wait in your vehicle and the doctor will call to discuss your pet. Please have your cell phone ready. 

Payments will be taken via text/telephone when the appointment is finished.
